Reflections of 2014
It’s been about a month since 2015 hit the calendars.
So, I’d like to start this article by asking you to reflect back on what you did in 2014.
What did you learn in 2014?
How did you grow personally/your business in 2014?
What did you do REALLY well in 2014?
What are the 5 best things that happened to you in 2014?
What achievement did you celebrate in 2014?
Now, if you haven’t completed your 2015 business plan yet—or if you already HAVE it completed—I’d like to share with you a blog post that Michael Maher wrote that may simplify the planning process for you.
Here are some things to consider:
LESS – What will you do LESS of in 2015 than you did in 2014? Less frequent mailings/emails, eat less, less advertising, less cold calling, less spending? Write down one thing you want to do LESS of in 2015.
MORE – What do you want to do MORE of in 2015? More exercise, more one-on-one phone calls, more meditation, more affirmations, more reading, more appreciation, more writing, more events? Write down one thing you want to do MORE of in 2015.
STOP – What will you STOP doing in 2015? Stop worrying, stop wasting time, stop wasting money, stop squirrel watching, stop micro-managing, stop doing everything yourself, stop trying to change people’s minds? Write down the one thing you want to STOP doing in 2015.
START – What will you START doing in 2015? Start regular office hours, start being your authentic self, start time blocking, start sending handwritten notes, start calling agents/clients on a daily basis, start attending events, start one marketing campaign and commit to it for one year. Write down the one thing you want to START doing in 2015.
