What Would You Say? Buyer tells you they don’t want to work with their real estate agent any longer.

Recently I asked loan officers what they would say to their buyer/client who is frustrated with the real estate agent they are working with — and claims they don’t want to work with them any longer.

This is a tough spot to be in — trying to appease the buyer, yet maintaining a relationship with the real estate agent.

Read the comments on how other LO’s would handle the situation – and please email me ([email protected]) or post your comments to our Facebook.com fan page.

  • If they are under contract, I would suggest that they call the managing broker, share the problem/issue and see if the managing broker will get the deal closed.
  • If they are working with a buyer’s agent, I would tell them to review their buyer’s agency agreement and use that as their guide.
