Not Just One of the Good Ol’ Boys

So, most of you know the long story about why I founded Mortgage Girlfriends…but to make the long story short, I just got fed up with the good ol’ boys network.

Women being excluded from higher management (and I mean like Regional Managers, CFOs or CEOs).

Women not being asked to speak at major mortgage conferences.

Women not being featured as top loan officers in mortgage publications (yeah, just notice that when a top producer is featured, out of 10 interviews, only one of them will be a woman).

But digging a little deeper, women run their mortgage business differently than men (I mean REALLY different), so why listen to a bunch of male speakers telling you that the only way to do business is THEIR way?

Women have different challenges outside the office too. Child care. Parent care. Cooking. Shopping. Household duties. And I can’t even begin to imagine what tasks you have to do every day—and still make a decent living.

So, circling back to the founding of Mortgage Girlfriends.

The annual Mastermind Retreat is FOR WOMEN ONLY!

This year’s theme is “Taking Care of Business: Managing from the Inside Out.”

It’s a two-day mastermind (October 8-9) on how to:

• Effectively and efficiently bring in the leads
• Take back control of your business
• Find time for yourself and your family
• Share sales and marketing strategies with other women

Bottom line: Mortgage Girlfriends was created to support you through education and networking with other women – who understand what you have to go through day in and day out as a woman in the mortgage industry!
