Captain Jack Sparrow Story: Building a Brand Experience (Part 4)

I recently read a story about a heavily tattooed guy who had just boarded a subway train. Everyone was looking at his forearms and the intricate inked pictures.

He knew people were staring at him — so he takes out his business cards and hands them to everyone within reach, saying that he’s a Captain Jack Sparrow impersonator for Pirates of the Caribbean themed parties. So what does that have to do with you?

It begs the question — when someone does business with you — are you building a “brand” experience around you in the way you look, the way you answer the phone, the way your office looks, your website, your blog—well, I could go on and on…
