Achieving Success – What’s Luck Got to Do with It?
We've got 5 ways for you to become more successful and in turn - luckier - in our latest blog.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, girlfriends! We have a serious question for you to ponder…
Are you one of those people who believe successful people are just lucky – or, that they made/create their own luck?
Hopefully, you believe the latter. Having been in the industry a long time and having mentored many business professionals, one thing rings true to me when it comes to luck + success. That is the phrase, “the harder you work, the luckier you get”.
As a speaker, coach, business owner, mother and wife, I believe everyone has the ability to become wildly successful. But, it isn’t something that just happens. It’s something you have to work for…every single day.
So, how can you become more successful and in turn – luckier? Check out the tips below!
- Put in the Extra Work
Are you currently sitting on the sidelines watching people around you grow their business and make more money? It’s because they are doing the work! They are putting in the time, sweat and hustle into everything they do and it’s paying off. So, work the longer hours, be there to answer the phone/emails, go out and get the business. Work harder and create your own success!
- Expand your Network
One of the keys to success is simply dedicating time to network and meet new people. Whether it be new referral partners, new clients, or new friends in your community, put yourself out there! Join local business groups, time-block an hour in your day to make calls, connect on social media, etc. There are so many ways to meet people today – utilize them to help grow and expand your business network!
- Use your Resources
If you’re reading this right now, you are already on the path to achieving more success in your business. Why? Because you are utilizing FREE resources to help increase your knowledge to grow your business. No matter how many years you’ve spent in the industry, something important to remember is to never stop learning. There is always something new to learn, a resource you can utilize, or, a mentor you can reach out to in order to help inspire more business.
- Invest in Yourself
Are there ways that you can grow your business by investing time or money? For example, hiring an assistant, joining group coaching, or purchasing a system to help you grow/organize? Sometimes, you need to invest in yourself and your business first to see real improvement and a great return.
- Practice Gratitude
Last but certainly not least, practice gratitude! Take some time each day to sit down and write out 3 things you are grateful for. The more you do this, the more you will see just how much you have to be grateful for and how lucky you already are. Get started today by checking out one of our recent blog posts on how gratitude is the key to growing your business.
